Our product and services portfolio starts at the early stage of producing silicon as a raw material. It covers the planning and development of silicon plants up to engineering and key equipment for the manufacturing of polysilicon, ingots and wafers. Furthermore, we equip leading solar companies as well as new market entrants with turnkey lines and key equipment for the production of crystalline solar cells and modules as well as CIGS thin film modules. We guarantee our customers key performance parameters, such as production capacity and on-time delivery.
As of December 31, 2011, we employed about 1,400 staff members at our German sites in Blaubeuren, Constance, Dresden and Burghausen and at our international service and sales subsidiaries in Asia, Europe, and the USA. In the 2011 financial year, the group achieved revenue of EUR 700 million.
