Conveyor furnace for firing of metal contacts in c-Si solar cell processing
c.FIRE, the new release fast firing furnace is designed for burning out of organic solvents and sintering of metallization contacts and is suited for all common sorts of metallization paste.
The integrated 4-stage dryer delivers advanced and accurate drying results. The electrostatic filter and the VOC-condenser are integrated in the newly designed cabinet and allow for a reliable and energy efficient exhaust handling.
The firing section includes an optimized infrared radiation setup with improved lifetime stability and advanced firing profile capabilities.

- Firing of front side metallization
- Alloying of rear side contact
- Overcompensation of n+ layer and gettering of metallic impurities (Al-BSF formation)
- Release of hydrogen from SiN-layer for passivation of silicon defects
- Drying of metallization paste
